Squarespace Widget

Add SupportUnicorn to Your Squarespace Site

If your client conversations already run through shared Slack Connect channels, the SupportUnicorn widget gives your Squarespace visitors a second way to reach you, and every message lands in the same queue your team already checks. It does not answer questions on its own.

What It Actually Does

One code snippet, the same queue

Built for teams whose support already runs through Slack Connect.

One snippet via Code Injection

Add a single script through Squarespace's built-in Code Injection panel. No plugin marketplace, no separate app.

Same triaged queue

Messages from the widget land in the same queue as your Slack Connect channels, with ownership and open or closed state.

No AI auto-answers

A real person on your team sees and answers every message. Nothing gets auto-resolved.

Site-wide or per-page

Inject the script site-wide through the header or footer, or on individual pages through a page's advanced settings.

One flat price

$49 a month per connected Slack workspace. The widget is included, not billed as a separate add-on.

Install it on Squarespace

Step 1: Connect your Slack workspace

Sign up at supportunicorn.com and connect the Slack workspace your team already uses for client channels.

Step 2: Copy your widget script

Grab the widget script from your account's Channels page.

Step 3: Open Code Injection

In Squarespace, go to Settings > Advanced > Code Injection and paste the script into the Footer field.

Step 4: Save

Save your changes. New widget messages now show up in your triaged Slack Connect queue alongside everything else.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers before you install anything.

Is this an AI chatbot for Squarespace?

No. The widget does not generate automatic answers. It captures the message and adds it to your triaged Slack Connect queue, where a real person on your team answers it.

Which Squarespace plan do I need for Code Injection?

Code Injection is available on Squarespace Core, Plus, and Advanced plans, plus some legacy billing plans. It is not available on plans that predate Code Injection or on the checkout pages of any plan.

Do I need Slack Connect already set up?

Yes, in practice. The widget is a second inlet into the same queue as your Slack Connect channels, not a standalone inbox. If it is not set up yet, start with our guide to using Slack for customer support before adding the widget.

How much does it cost?

SupportUnicorn is $49 a month per connected Slack workspace, flat, with no per-seat fee and no free tier. The widget is included at that price.
