Zendesk v2 — Stability & Performance

Major stability and performance improvements to the Zendesk integration. Rebuilt webhook handling, faster sidebar rendering, and more reliable ticket sync across high-volume support queues.

The Zendesk integration has been rebuilt for production-grade reliability. Zendesk v2 addresses every stability issue reported since the initial launch and delivers measurably faster performance.

Rebuilt webhook pipeline

Webhook handling between Zendesk and SupportUnicorn has been rewritten for resilience. Incoming ticket events are now processed through a hardened pipeline with proper retry logic, deduplication, and error isolation. Missed webhooks and silent failures are eliminated.

Faster sidebar rendering

The Zendesk sidebar app loads significantly faster. We reduced the data payload, optimized API calls, and improved the rendering pipeline so agents see AI suggestions and ticket context without delay — even on large ticket histories.

Reliable ticket synchronization

Ticket state now stays in sync between Zendesk and SupportUnicorn regardless of volume. Bulk ticket operations, rapid status changes, and concurrent agent actions no longer cause drift or stale data in the sidebar.

Improved escalation flow

Escalations from AI to human agents within Zendesk are now more predictable. The escalation trigger conditions, routing rules, and notification delivery have all been tightened to ensure conversations reach the right agent at the right time.

Domain and configuration fixes

All integration endpoints have been updated to use the supportunicorn.com domain. Configuration references, OAuth callbacks, and sidebar links all point to the correct production URLs.

Release versioning

The Zendesk integration now follows a versioned release cycle with tagged builds. This enables cleaner rollbacks, better change tracking, and more predictable updates for teams relying on the integration in production.
